What Information Do I Need for a Business Insurance Quote?

Below are some guidelines for what we need to provide you with a business insurance quote.  

If you don’t have all the information listed - that’s ok.  We can still give you a quote. 

Just know the more information we have, the more accurate your quote will be. 

If you are looking for insurance that is not listed here, it doesn’t mean we can't get coverage.

If you currently have Business Insurance, a copy of your current coverage will provide most of the information that we need.

If you don’t have any coverage or if you’re a new start up, the following is what we need (Please note this is a general list and we may have more questions depending on the type of business you own.)

• Type of business
• Address
• Total sales
• Number of employees
• Building information
• Contents information
• Portable tools
• Any scheduled items

If you have coverage now or its just expired, a copy of your insurance declaration page will provide most of the information that we need.

If you currently have no coverage, the following is what we will need:

• Name, date of birth and drivers license number for all drivers
• Year, make, model and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)for all autos
• The usage of your autos, job site daily, delivery, sales etc.

If you have coverage now or it's just expired, a copy of your insurance declaration page will provide most of the information that we need.

If you currently have no coverage or just hired your first employee, the following is what we will need:

• Type of Business
• Address
• Number of Employees
• Number of Full time / Part time
• Total Payroll each employee
• Job description

 A great deal of information goes into getting a bond. The type of bond you need changes the type of information that we need. Please call for information on the type of bond you need. Also, please remember that bonds don’t happen quickly, so please leave ample time to acquire all the information and then quote and issue the bond.
